About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonary Clinic team at Billings Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care and treatment
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the healthcare team
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient examinations and procedures
  • Assist with patient scheduling, registration, and collection of co-pays
  • Screen incoming telephone calls and refer patients to the appropriate healthcare professional
  • Order and maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment
  • Maintain patient files, records, and other information, adhering to confidentiality requirements
  • Compile statistical data for reports as directed
  • Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of related work experience in a healthcare environment, preferred
  • Successful completion of department orientation, skills competencies, and 54 LMS modules within 6 months of hire
  • Completion of Personal Accountability class within 6 months of hire
  • Required to obtain certification or registration within 15 months of hire through organizations approved by Billings Clinic
