Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients in the Neurosurgery department.
- Assist with patient preparation, vital sign collection, and medical record documentation.
- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, tests, and follow-up care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification required upon hire or within 60 days of hire.
- Three months of previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
