A Medical Assistant in our Dermatology Clinic provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for healthcare providers, maintaining a positive and caring attitude, and coordinating care to ensure patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and the ability to function in a fast-paced environment. A strong organizational skills and attention to detail are also essential. Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, and certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is also desirable.
Physical requirements include the ability to see and read information, verbally communicate with patients and staff, and manually dexterity to manipulate equipment with precision and accuracy. The ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients is also required.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The hourly range for this position is $22.88. Intermountain Health offers a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
