Maintenance I Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance I to join our team at Amcor Rigid Packaging. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on assigned production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Determine necessary parts and equipment for repairs and complete order requests in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and machine operators to ensure effective PM activities are completed.
  • Use computer applications, including FlexNet, to view production schedules and plan PM activities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance with Electrical Classroom Theory preferred.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required; experience with blow-molding, one-step, and/or injection-molding machines preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
