Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Preventative Maintenance team at Amcor Rigid Packaging. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment, performing routine maintenance tasks, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on assigned equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, maintenance colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall equipment performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment logs, maintenance schedules, and repair histories.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a maintenance or equipment operation role.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret technical documentation, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
