Job Responsibilities:

This position requires onsite presence.

The Technical Accounting Staff member will assist in the implementation and interpretation of complex accounting matters, which may involve revenue recognition, lease agreements, intangible assets, intercompany transactions, and business mergers. This role will also entail monitoring emerging accounting standards and SEC regulations, analyzing their implications for the company, and aiding in updates to the company's accounting practices. Additionally, this position will contribute to the documentation of SEC filings and internal controls related to financial reporting. The individual will report directly to the Manager of Technical Accounting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support the technical accounting team across various functions.
  • Engage in special projects and ad-hoc assignments.
  • Research and document the company's accounting policies.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Contribute to the documentation of internal controls for financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or large SEC registrant is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and responsiveness to requests.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and service-focused.
  • Adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work.
  • Proven teamwork skills and a willingness to contribute to team success.
  • Intellectually curious, innovative, and collaborative.
