Grants Manager

About the Role
The Diversity in Leadership Institute is seeking a skilled Grants Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating equitable educational outcomes for Black and Latinx students in California. As a Grants Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by leading our grant acquisition and management efforts, contributing to our overall revenue growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a grant strategy aimed at increasing the organization's revenue by $2 million through institutional grants.
- Research and identify new funding prospects that align with DLI's priorities, ensuring a diversified and sustainable funding base.
- Manage and report on grants with precision, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
- Support in drafting grant proposals and writing grant reports, as well as craft targeted donor communications that center and amplify DLI's mission, fellow experiences, and program impact.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in grant writing, with a proven record of crafting successful proposals.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from start to finish.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights that strengthen grant applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong connections with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to stay highly organized and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in your work.
- Champion social justice and equity, integrating these values into your approach.
Benefits and Compensation
The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience. The Diversity in Leadership Institute offers comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits packages.
