Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary project leader for the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), focusing on specialized engineering and strategic planning for military unit stationing initiatives.
  • Deliver comprehensive briefings and analytical studies to senior INSCOM officials and key overseas commanders as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the INSCOM G4 engineering team to coordinate stationing action tasks related to training, organization, and support of US Army Military Intelligence operations.
  • Utilize technical and military expertise to create stationing program management plans, employing Microsoft Project software for effective project tracking.
  • Engage with military command planning teams to formulate inclusive plans that address the diverse interests of both supported and supporting organizations in master relocation and realignment strategies.
  • Conduct thorough engineering evaluations of Military Construction (MILCON) Project Data submissions, ensuring compliance with physical security and remediation standards.
  • Participate in high-level planning discussions between HQ INSCOM G4 and various US Army Major Command Program Management offices, as well as NATO and allied military partners.
  • Prepare and present essential documentation for unit stationing actions required by DOD, Army, and EPA, covering military construction, facility renovations, and environmental assessments.
  • Stay informed on the latest HQDA engineering and force structure management policies to provide informed operational and technical recommendations.
  • Be ready for immediate deployment to various global locations, including potentially hazardous environments, to deliver technical support to US forces.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality support to INSCOM and associated clients.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in project management or a related discipline from an accredited institution, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of military or civilian experience in project management focused on military planning and operations.
  • Physical capability to navigate confined spaces and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Proven ability to leverage historical military knowledge to ensure effective integration of intelligence and security systems during unit and base realignments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing operational military units or equivalent civilian roles, with a preference for familiarity with Army intelligence doctrine and joint military operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of technical military writing conventions.
  • Must be a US Citizen with a Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation, along with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) as per ICD 704.
