Job Summary

An Associate Business Applications Specialist is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of system applications, upgrading features, and performing diagnostic tests to release applications to Revenue Cycle. This role works closely with other specialists to improve system codes, verify network infrastructure efficiency, and adjust application functions based on client specifications and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilize established procedures to perform assigned tasks under close supervision.
2. Perform routine support and implementation work using detailed instructions.
3. Communicate effectively within the assigned team and provide basic application support to customers.
4. Perform basic application diagnostics and troubleshoot issues.
5. Maintain a level of cybersecurity knowledge to securely accomplish job duties.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact): The employee must possess/obtain and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages. Specifically, the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• 8-10 years experience with IS or IT functionality AND/OR within Health Care Industry Or related financial systems support, and/or related business applications experience
