Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service, answer product questions, and provide recommendations.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services, process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
  • Relationship Building: Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, maintain precise work order files and formulas, and pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, comply with inventory control procedures, and suggest ways to improve sales.
  • Operational Support: Load/unload delivery trucks, assist in making deliveries, and clean store equipment.
Requirements
  • Age and Authorization: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Education: Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position, and previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
