About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Spectrum Enterprise. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with government and education organizations to promote the benefits of our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and simplify client operations by providing award-winning training and support.
  • Continuously evaluate client networking capabilities and recommend technologies to meet their unique needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored product solutions to meet the needs of key clients.
  • Work with regulatory agencies to ensure state and federal compliance.
  • Deliver product presentations to decision makers that align with business needs.
  • Conduct tactful and mutually beneficial contract negotiations and conversations with executives.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in or working with state/local government and education.
  • Five or more years of strategic B2B sales experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ICOMS or CSG.
  • Prospecting, cold-calling, negotiating, networking and English communication skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to manage change and cultivate market opportunities.
  • Availability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of telecommunications B2B sales experience.
  • Two or more years of outside-related sales experience.
  • Familiarity with Spectrum Enterprise products.
