About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration of complex systems, developing CM plans and procedures, creating documentation templates, and maintaining CM baselines. Additionally, they will work closely with the In-Service Engineering Agent to jointly manage product baselines and lead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement CM plans and procedures
  • Develop and maintain CM documentation templates
  • Train personnel on using CM templates
  • Maintain CM baselines, including functional, allocated, and product baselines
  • Collaborate with the In-Service Engineering Agent to manage product baselines
  • Lead CCBs, PCAs, and ECP processes
  • Conduct trade studies and recommend CM tools
  • Ensure timely and accurate status reporting
  • Support documentation management

Required Qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Experience in performing configuration management and product lifecycle management, supporting CCB and ECP processes, and using CM and/or PLM tools.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
