Job Title: Data Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team at the State of California. As a key member of our Strategic Innovation & Implementation Branch, you will play a crucial role in managing and performing in-house research initiatives, crafting intuitive process improvements, and innovative datasets for analytical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage statistical, data-driven, and research skills to perform various key initiatives within the organization.
  • Report key findings from Service Center processes data through research and analyses of various KPI's and metrics.
  • Conduct exploratory research to identify trends to influence business decisions.
  • Provide impactful data findings to push for process improvements within the department.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience using various data modeling tools and software such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, and etc.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with high-volume data analytics, statistical quantitative and qualitative research, metrics and KPIs.
  • Ability to create effective multi-level summaries, presentations, and reports for a wide range of audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to work independently.
