Job Summary

The Labor Compliance Analyst will be responsible for demonstrating strong attention to detail with an ability to perform professional and complex analytical work in support of union and statutory compliance policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Data Analysis: Provide a range of analyses and reports for employee data changes, according to labor contract rules, for union trust fund contributions.
  • Data Quality and Cleansing: Data mining for data quality and cleansing to ensure accurate compliance with applicable labor contracts.
  • Benefits and Compliance: Assist employees with benefits-related questions, investigate participant issues, and provide problem resolution or identifies the issue for further review.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis in anticipation of labor contract negotiations/changes.
  • Reporting and Audits: Generate and interpret reports according to labor contract rules, and respond to labor trust fund audits with reporting and analysis as required.
  • Union Data Management: Manage union data portals for reconciliation of invoices for contribution remittances.
  • Audit Support: Support audit functions of current employee data to ensure data accuracy.
  • Business Partner Support: Support business partners in analysis of employee data as needed.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot data and reports.
  • Project Support: General project support and management as required by the HR Contracts team.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University with a minimum of 2+ years related experience and/or training in labor compliance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Contract Interpretation: Ability to read/interpret complex contract rules and apply rules to data.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulously provide precise and accurate work product with commitment to timely completion.
  • Time Management: Comfortable with short-term deadlines in fast-paced work environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively seeks answers to problems with business partners throughout the company.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and general proficiency in MS suite of applications.
  • Teamwork: Team player with ability to respectfully manage internal customer expectations.
Compensation:

$70,000 - $72,000 per year
