Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused HVAC Sales and Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer needs are met, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Answer incoming calls and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, handling multiple customers and requests simultaneously.
- Product Knowledge: Assist customers in making product selections by asking questions and actively listening to identify customer needs, and provide product features, benefits, and usage information.
- Order Processing: Enter sales orders into a point-of-sale computer system for invoicing or cash payments, and process customer returns and warranties following company guidelines.
- Communication: Proactively communicate with customers about expected delays or issues with their orders, and follow up on all customer requests for information, quotes, alternative parts, and delivery dates.
- Relationship Building: Develop good working relationships and rapport with customers, greeting regulars by name, and maintaining the highest standards in cleanliness and appearance of the showroom.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and experience and/or training in the HVAC/R industry.
- Experience: Must have experience as a sales and service associate, with excellent verbal communication skills (in-person and phone), and skill in using point-of-sale computer systems.
- Competitive Salary: $25 / hour
