Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize unscheduled downtime
  • Manage the maintenance of production equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe and efficient
  • Direct the maintenance personnel and labor costs, ensuring optimal resource allocation
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and implement equipment modifications and facilities improvements that enhance plant performance, product quality, and reduce costs
  • Coordinate the efficient operation of all facilities necessary to manage the distribution and usage of utilities, reducing costs and improving efficiency
  • Oversee the management of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage the scheduling of maintenance personnel, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, GMPs, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
  • Develop and implement a departmental training program to enhance maintenance personnel's skills and knowledge
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary reviews of maintenance personnel

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing and facilities maintenance leadership positions
  • Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Capital project and capital project budget management experience
