Position Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

Role Summary:

The Electrical Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of electrical installations and maintenance. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess self-performance metrics, generating daily and weekly reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to project scope.
  • Validate invoices received from contractors to ensure compliance with project budgets.
  • Analyze construction blueprints and prepare material quantity estimates.
  • Examine maintenance and material expenses, negotiating contracts to secure optimal pricing.
  • Collaborate with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Compile reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other essential documentation.
  • Provide strategic advice to managers and clients regarding process improvements and innovative strategies.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring timely ordering of materials as needed.
  • Document design modifications and update financial projections accordingly.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Primary responsibility includes validating quantities installed by subcontractors and internal teams, as well as supporting invoice verification.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and manage documentation tasks effectively.
  • Interpret and analyze P&ID diagrams, electrical and instrumentation drawings, and loop diagrams.
  • Understand the requirements for lump sum, unit rate, and time & materials contracts.
  • Comprehend scopes of work and technical specifications thoroughly.
  • Experience in reporting, photography, and summarizing project developments.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, particularly in interactions with contractors.
  • Understand and report on project progress effectively.
  • Excel proficiency is essential.
  • Possess a proactive attitude, demonstrating initiative and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges.
