  • Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Maintains and distributes all product qualification equipment and ensures that all calibration requirements are met.
  • Responsible for material review and inspection for quality control.
  • Initiates and maintains an open line of communication with raw material suppliers to identify and improve quality of materials received.
  • Review, monitor, and close out all material holds.
  • Plan, organize, and prepare data/samples for line trials.
  • Suggests and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of department.
  • Assess department performance against weekly, monthly, and annual goals and objectives.
  • Maintains time and production records.
  • Analyze and resolve issues/complaints. Troubleshoot quality concerns.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Understanding of quality standards set by International Organization of Standardization (ISO).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical related field.
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus.
