Job Overview

The City of Chesapeake seeks a highly skilled Clinical Program Supervisor to oversee the Infant and Toddler Connection programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of services and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Local System Manager for the Infant & Toddler Connection of Chesapeake, liaising between the city and state Part C Office of the Dept. of Behavioral Health and Development Services.
  • Directs and oversees programs and delivery of services, ensuring program compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws, and agency guidelines.
  • Supervises staff, including selecting or recommending selections, training, assigning and evaluating work, counseling, disciplining, and terming or recommending termination.
  • Develops and implements policy and procedures for the Infant & Toddler Connection of Chesapeake, ensuring compliance with same by staff.
  • Develops and implements policy and procedures for the Infant & Toddler program, oversees and approved expenditures, prepares financial forms and reports.
  • Develops, maintains, and oversees therapy provider agency contracts between CIBH and contact therapy providers.
  • Conducts utilization reviews, performs quality assurance reviews of records, gathers and maintains information to support periodic and special reports documenting activities and events for the program and state contract deliverables.
  • Stays abreast of new trends or procedures for area of responsibility, provides information and training on changes to staff, serves on Part C work groups to influence system planning and change.
  • Attends or conducts staff, committee, council or other professional meetings to exchange information, participates in workshops and on task forces to address relevant issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business management, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
  • In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this position requires a minimum of four years of related, full-time equivalent experience.
  • Requires licensure appropriate to area of responsibility.
  • May require a valid driver's license and a driving record that is in compliance with the City of Chesapeake's policies.
