The City of Torrance is seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Analyst to join its Communications & Information Technology Department Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining the City's communications and computing network environment, software applications, network/hardware infrastructure, desktop computers, telephones, and mobile radio communications.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the maintenance, testing, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting for all centralized server IT hardware and software.
- Administer and maintain email accounts, internet access, and server room.
- Work with telecommunications and computer professionals to deploy new systems, modify existing networks, and troubleshoot problems.
- Handle non-routine or complex maintenance, testing, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting and technical support for all centralized and server IT hardware and software.
- Assist with and conduct the overall analysis and design of systems for network operations within the City.
