About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team at UNICON International, Inc. in Torrance, CA. This is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days of in-office work and occasional remote work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including business requirements documents, system requirement specifications, and technical design diagrams.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to define, document, and manage user stories, ensuring clarity in functional and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers, systems architects, and cross-functional teams to design solutions that meet business needs and integrate across platforms.
  • Develop, manage, and execute test scripts and test models for functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) efforts to ensure seamless integration of different systems, applications, and components.
  • Manage Quality Assurance (QA) processes by defining testing criteria, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure effective communication with testing teams, monitor test results, and recommend improvements to optimize testing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in management information systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical business analyst or similar role within an IT or software development environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver features in complex, multi-team environments with various dependencies.
  • Strong experience working with Product Owners to define, document, and manage user stories and product backlogs.
  • Familiarity and comfort working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies, with the ability to pivot between frameworks as project demands change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with B2C applications, customer data platforms (CDPs), email marketing tools, and personalization engines.
  • Experience as a Technical Product Owner.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and business intelligence (BI) tools.
