Job Summary

The Benefits Analyst will play a critical role in directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs. This position will be responsible for annual reporting, benefits billing, and coordinating company wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer company benefit plans and programs, including health, dental, flexible spending, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and other benefit plans offered by the company.
  • Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing, handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident, and death claims, loans, hardships, and other benefit-related tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with personal computer applications.
  • Working knowledge of timekeeping and Human Resource Information Systems.
  • High level of detail orientation.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong customer focus, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with inspiration and accountability and being a good role model.
  • Proactive approach.
Work Environment

This position will work in an office environment with occasional work/exposure in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Travel Requirements

This position will require up to 25% travel to our satellite locations and any other required travel as necessary.
