Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction & Maintenance Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the construction and maintenance of homes for families in need. You will work alongside volunteers and other staff members to ensure that each home is built to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all phases of home construction, including framing, roofing, siding, drywall, and finishing.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Habitat homes.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with volunteers and staff members.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Habitat for Humanity's mission and values.
