Job Title: Systems Analyst

At Select Industries Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in planning, analyzing, and implementing our ERP system - PLEX UX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide data entry and analysis of data in various formats
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing data reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Prepare a variety of letters, memos, forms, and reports from handwritten drafts or verbal instructions
  • Compile data from varied sources and make summary reports as required
  • Maintain files; search files and records for readily identifiable information, as directed
  • Assist with Information Technology duties from troubleshooting computers, hardware issues, accessing files
  • Maintain a follow-up system on reports requiring action periodically
  • Use office machines such as computers, printers, FAX machines, mailroom equipment, photocopiers, and other standard office equipment
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from the public and other companies when information requested is specifically provided and known

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
  • 5 years or equivalent of computer systems experience required
  • Proficient keyboarding skills and ability to successfully navigate in Windows software applications
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills required in addition to sound telephone etiquette
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
