Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in planning, analyzing, and implementing the ERP system for Select Industries Corp. This individual will evaluate and analyze complex applications of operating systems to optimize equipment usage, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide data entry and analysis in various formats
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing data reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Prepare various reports, letters, and memos
  • Maintain files and search for readily identifiable information
  • Assist with IT duties, including troubleshooting computers and hardware issues
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent required
  • 5 years or equivalent of computer systems experience required
  • Proficient keyboarding skills and ability to navigate Windows software applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Environment:

The Business Systems Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee will be exposed to the production floor and will be required to follow company lifting limitations.
