Physician, Post Acute and Long Term Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Internal/Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Five Star Physician Services. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the RoleAs a Physician with Five Star Physician Services, you will be responsible for admitting, rounding on, and discharging short-term rehab and long-term care patients at our partner Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will also provide cross-coverage as needed by colleague medical staff, perform evaluations on patients with changes in condition, and attend to patients as requested by facility staff.

- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and maintain compliance with all facility and Five Star Physician quality initiatives

We are currently seeking to employ full-time Internal/Family Medicine Physicians to provide services at our Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers located in the Maryland and Virginia areas. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday, flexible hour, full-time schedule, as well as a supportive environment consisting of extensive training and quality assurance feedback for our medical providers.
