Management Liability Underwriting Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Management Liability underwriter to join our team at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite, price, and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company's strategies and guidelines for CSU's Management Liability products.
  • Participate in Management Liability product development, including coverage form creation, ratemaking, and development of underwriting guidelines.
  • Monitor product results, developing ideas and marketing plans to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Serve as the point of contact for agents and underwriters to assist in growing this line of business.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with producers and agencies.
  • Maintain high service standards and conduct marketing visits in conjunction with underwriters and admitted lines counterparts.
  • Serve as a company subject matter expert responsible for training and educating the CSU Underwriting team.
  • Work collaboratively and independently with a high level of authority and judgment.
Requirements:
  • Five to seven years of prior Management Liability underwriting experience with a carrier, broker, or MGA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical and negotiating abilities.
  • The ability to work closely with associates at various levels within the organization.
