Key Responsibilities- Maintain and prioritize a task list on a regular basis as directed by senior team members.
- Provide administrative support to our local office, completing tasks as needed and directed.
- Learn and support the Client Service Cycle with oversight from experienced team members to ensure a seamless renewal process and retain business.
- Study and apply Gallagher's resources, available tools, established work products, and knowledge to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in client deliverables with oversight from experienced team members.
- Establish positive relationships within the branch and develop strong oral and written communication skills.
- Assist the Client Service Manager with the preparation of RFPs, coordinate vendor responses, and support the development of client presentations.
- Leverage team members to ensure timely delivery of requests for clients, vendors, and internal partners.
- Develop innovative ideas to improve processes and maintain up-to-date records in the Document Management System.
- Comply with Gallagher's processes, BOSS standards, and office initiatives.
- Complete training and professional development to gain understanding of the insurance industry.
- Exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote ethical behavior, and uphold The Gallagher Way.
- High School diploma/equivalent plus 1 year directly applicable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic math skills.
- Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred.
- Previous experience managing client relationships.
- Life & Health license (or to be obtained within first 90 days of employment).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Develops professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively with a team as well as independently, capable of meeting deadlines and delegating when necessary.
- Abilities to manage/balance multiple priorities.
- Seeks to understand team and Branch goals.
- Actively seeks to develop professional skills.
