Overview:
IST Management is seeking a Front Desk/Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and administrative support in a professional office setting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a reception or administrative role, possess excellent communication skills, and be well-versed in customer service and hospitality services.
This is a temporary, 4-month minimum role with the potential to become longer-term or permanent, depending on job performance and future personnel decisions.
The Front Desk/Receptionist will be responsible for fostering a professional and pleasant working environment by providing excellent customer service, general office services, hospitality, reception, and facilities coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and friendly customer service, verbal and written interaction with internal and external clients
- Greet clients and visitors, create security badges, direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Manage conference rooms, book and receive clients, set up and breakdown meetings, and provide catering assistance
- Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines, take direction from supervisor, and participate in cross-training
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation, with high attention to detail, and adhere to all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, authorization to work for any employer in the US required
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency required, familiarity with MS Teams
- Prior experience in a reception or administrative role, excellent communication skills, and ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy, lift up to 50 lbs on occasion, and walk and stand for extended periods
