Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Westin Alexandria. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and ensuring a seamless stay experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Register guests and process check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process payments and handle guest transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and surrounding areas.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
