About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Pavilion for Women team at Meritas Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide patient care under the direction of a physician, nurse practitioner, or other non-physician provider.

Responsibilities
  • Competently assist providers to maximize patient volume, administer medications, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and return patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective patient communication and efficient patient flow.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Perform EMR tasks correctly and timely.
  • Process patient referrals timely and follow up to ensure specialist reports or test results are received.
  • Follow all regulatory and patient safety clinical standards.
  • Work and communicate effectively with all providers.
  • Provide great customer service in person and on the telephone.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current license to practice in the state of Missouri.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician's office setting, preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association.
  • Basic office skills, patient-centered mindset, excellent time management and organization skills, ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.

The hours of operation for the Pavilion for Women practice are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Your primary schedule will be during those hours, with periodic need to work outside your schedule to serve our patients.
