Job Summary

University Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Adult Outpatient Medication Clinic team in Behavioral Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to adults with acute and chronic illnesses, including administering and monitoring treatments under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and educate Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAPs) as needed.
  • Perform duties within the scope of the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established organizational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current state of Missouri license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of Inpatient Behavioral Health Experience.
  • IV Certification.
