Aerospace Technician Sr. PA Integration

Job Summary

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. We're seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Technician Sr. PA Integration to join our team and contribute to the success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and integrate payload systems, ensuring adherence to written procedures, engineering drawings, and models.
  • Apply various types of bonding materials, including RTV and Epoxy.
  • Set up new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and aerial lifts.
  • Use precision calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Clean as you go is critical for all operations across Blue Origin.
  • Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
  • Work closely with a team in clean room operations and from heights.
  • Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when necessary.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field.
  • Experience in instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general aerospace/launch vehicle assembly, or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
  • Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 50lbs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working inside clean rooms.
  • Experience working on payloads, fairings, and capsules.
  • ATF Certification for handling and/or installing explosives.
  • Experience in handling/moving large aerospace components.
  • Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field.
  • Proven success as a hands-on technical leader.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
