Job Description

Assistant General Manager Role

Krispy Kreme - Maui is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our store. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the store's production, purchasing, and sales efforts, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in setting the direction of the business and implementing strategies to drive sales and manage costs.
  • Oversee production and purchasing functions, ensuring that all food items are correctly recorded on the computer register system.
  • Manage the store's inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
  • Supervise and train Team Members, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and terminating Team Members, as needed.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to assess staffing, maintenance, cleanliness, and zoning, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to create a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including employment laws and food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced retail or restaurant environment, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Team Members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to work a variable and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and safely move about in all areas of the store.
