Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Operations Engineering team, you will provide critical support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process baseline metrics, SPC implementation, defect prevention, and process data analysis.
  • Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing process improvements using Lean Manufacturing methodology.
  • Interact with senior personnel on technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations and/or suppliers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • Active DoD security clearance (Confidential).
  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles and supporting circuit card assembly production floor processes.
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools and automated equipment programming.
