Field Engineer in Heavy Civil and Marine Projects

A reputable organization focused on substantial construction and marine projects is seeking a Field Engineer with expertise in heavy civil engineering and tugboat operations. POSITION SUMMARY - We are looking for Field Engineers with a background in HEAVY civil or marine engineering, or substantial construction (such as bridges). The role is primarily based out of the local office.

This position does not offer remote work - Candidates seeking remote or hybrid work arrangements may not be suitable for this role.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in DOT/Heavy Civil Highway or Marine Construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification and a desire to transition into a Project Manager role after gaining experience.

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and expertise in heavy/marine projects.

The ideal candidate is motivated to develop a long-term career in engineering.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working for an engineering firm on projects specifically related to marine and heavy civil engineering (including bridge and tunnel construction).
