Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement community outreach and education programs to promote litter reduction and waste management practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, organizations, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and coordination on community cleanup initiatives.
- Conduct outreach and education efforts to promote the importance of proper waste disposal and litter reduction.
- Collaborate with other city departments and agencies to develop and implement comprehensive community cleanup initiatives.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses, community groups, and organizations to support community cleanup efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community outreach and education programs.
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, social services, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in professional program work in human or social services administration.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Two years of experience in solid waste management, education, communications, community outreach, environmental sciences, or related fields.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience working with diverse communities and populations.
