Job Overview

Essel is revolutionizing the home services industry, and we're seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Field Operations team. As a Field Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for directing a team of handypersons, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Leadership: Direct a team of 15-20 handypersons, promoting a positive work environment and aligning with our company mission.
  • Training and Performance: Develop and implement training programs, provide coaching, and analyze performance metrics to drive team success.
  • Scheduling and Escalations: Optimize schedules, manage real-time escalations, and ensure seamless member experiences.
  • Scope of Work and Troubleshooting: Pre-scope tasks, provide on-call troubleshooting support, and ensure our team is always ahead of the curve.
  • Recruiting and Onboarding: Develop a pipeline of top talent, lead the onboarding process, and create a team that's ready to excel.
  • Market and Operations Development: Collaborate with the General Manager to drive business growth, scale stability, and operational brilliance.
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • 15+ years of experience in home/property maintenance, construction, or general contracting.
  • 5+ years of experience managing remote teams, with a proven track record of hiring, training, and retaining top talent.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and resolving escalations.
  • An active General Contractor license (preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current proof of insurance.
  • A competitive salary range of $85k-$110k, plus benefits and equity opportunities.
