Overview:
Support the Banquet Manager in delivering exceptional service to guests during banquet events, ensuring a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
Prepare the banquet area as directed by the Supervisor, including arranging linens, serviceware, and glassware.

Participate in pre-event roll call meetings to understand the specifics of the function, including guest and hotel expectations.

Welcome guests and address their requests in a friendly and courteous manner.


Serve food and beverages in accordance with the Supervisor's instructions to maintain consistency throughout the event.

Promptly clear dishes as guests finish each course and/or at the conclusion of the meal or event.

Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Replenish beverages as needed and check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction.


After the banquet concludes, reset the banquet area according to the Supervisor's guidelines to prepare for the next event.

Maintain regular attendance and be available to work consistently.

Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous hotel experience is preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests.


Must be willing to assist coworkers with their responsibilities and be a team player, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette is required. Familiarity with appropriate table settings and serviceware is essential.


Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to ensure the safe use of products and processes within the hotel.

Capacity to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu offerings.

Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded area continuously throughout the shift. Proficiency in operating beverage equipment, such as coffee makers, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
