At Patient Plus Urgent Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Patient Greeting and Registration**: Welcome patients and visitors to our clinic, register and check in patients for visits, and verify insurance and collect correct payment.
- **Customer Service**: Treat patients and co-workers with the highest respect and professionalism, answering phone calls and assisting callers with questions or routing calls to the appropriate staff member.
- **Administrative Support**: Balance and reconcile cash registers, EBO, and Rectangular, and reconcile daily receipts within established guidelines as directed.
- **Patient Flow Management**: Monitor the flow of patients, including placing patients into rooms as needed, and ensure an adequate stock of front office supplies and proper equipment functioning.
- **Confidentiality and Security**: Always maintain patient confidentiality and treat all patients with the highest respect in all job functions.
**Requirements:**
- **Education**: High School Diploma or GED.
- **Experience**: 1 year of Customer Service Representative experience.
- **Skills**: Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, good communication and interpersonal skills, good time management, organizational and prioritization abilities, and attention to detail.
