About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator to join our team at CentraState Healthcare System. As a key member of our senior living operations team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the overall operation of our assisted living facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the facility in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Establish and maintain systems to enforce facility policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports in a timely manner, providing strategic oversight and analysis.
  • Supervise and manage departmental staff, including employment, performance evaluation, and discharge.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to monitor budgetary performance and ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, safety, and storage of all resident, plant, and facility records, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family members, and community agencies.
  • Assume responsibility for regulated reporting to federal, state, and local government agencies.
  • Participate in committees and contribute to the development of quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Direct and oversee the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program, ensuring compliance with facility and state standards.
  • Market the facility to the community, residents, families, and healthcare professionals, generating business opportunities and developing key referral channels.
  • Participate in community activities to sustain the facility's presence in the market and generate business opportunities.
  • Ensure the timely and effective resolution of customer issues and concerns.
  • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction surveys and feedback, making necessary changes and reporting to the QAPI committee.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of long-term care and supervisory experience required.
  • Current CALA certification required.
  • Dementia Capable Care Specialist Certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Current NJ LNHA preferred.
  • Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
