Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team at Mattison Crossing, a vibrant community of LCB Senior Living, LLC. As a key member of our Resident Care Team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Resident Care Director in managing the community and supervising Resident Care Associates.
  • Monitor emerging health needs of residents and provide support as needed.
  • Participate in community marketing efforts and promote the mission and values of LCB Senior Living, LLC.
  • Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of resident care associates.
  • Evaluate residents' issues and medical concerns and discuss with the ED, family, and MD as appropriate.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration with all departments to improve services and eliminate problem areas.
  • Monitor resident care assistants' compliance with infection control and sharps disposal programs.
  • Participate in the direct care of residents on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide support to resident care associates regarding assignment questions or concerns and emergency situations.
  • Ensure completion and review of incident/accident reports and implement changes through proper channels.
  • Assist the Resident Care Director with all documentation required by LCB Senior Living, LLC or state regulations.
  • Administer topical and oral medications, ear and eye drops, and injectables as permitted by regulation.
Requirements
  • Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
  • At least two years of experience in a geriatric setting and previous health experience in hospital and/or community settings.
  • Good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and push/pull carts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
