Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Support Technology Hardware:
    • Implement necessary upgrades and installations.
    • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with vendors or IT personnel as needed.
    • Ensure proper disposal of equipment following approved procedures.
    • Maintain real-time updates to the asset management database.
  • Video Conferencing Management:
    • Facilitate and oversee video conferencing for both inter and intra-office meetings.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment.
  • Account and Equipment Provisioning:
    • Provision and deactivate network accounts as required.
    • Configure mobile devices and relevant applications.
    • Prepare and provision new desktops and laptops.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and prompt resolution of end-user technology challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with end-users, colleagues, vendors, and management.
  • Adhere to best practices for hardware deployment and upgrades.
  • Create service tickets to monitor technology-related issues.
  • Take ownership of escalated tickets from the help desk.
  • Provide support for meetings, including video conferences and presentations.
  • Maintain office Active Directory security and distribution groups.
  • Comply with information security policies and procedures.
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 2016/365, Active Directory, and computer hardware maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of internet protocols and remote access technologies.
  • Familiarity with telephone systems and video conferencing technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with end-users and IT teams.
  • Availability for 24/7 support as part of the IT team, with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Microsoft environment.
  • Experience in medium to large organizational settings is preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory is essential.

Work Environment:

  • This role requires physical presence in the office during standard business hours.
  • Availability for emergency calls outside of business hours is expected.
  • Occasional overtime may be necessary.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10% travel may be required for support and project initiatives.
  • Occasional travel to assist with technology needs at local venues may be necessary.
