Job Summary

The Financial Representative role at Western & Southern Life involves meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients by educating them, analyzing their needs, and recommending suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to identify and acquire new clients.
  • Nurture existing relationships with clients to ensure their evolving financial needs are met.
  • Prospect and network to identify qualified leads and make initial contacts.
  • Conduct sales appointments, sales, conservation, and service.
  • Effectively plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities.
  • Maintain accurate client and company records.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Ability to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to work hours that include weekday evenings and weekend hours.
  • State Life and Health license prior to hire, and FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 within one year of employment.

Computer Skills

  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Working knowledge of internet and email.

Position Demands

  • Access to an automobile and ability to maintain a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
