Electronics Specialist

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a full range of electronic equipment maintenance, ensuring sustainable operation of machinery and equipment, and participating in process improvement and problem-solving teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies
- Routine maintenance, including field fault analysis, calibration of instrumentation, and component replacement
- Troubleshoot and repair various equipment, including electronic, digital, and AC/DC motors and controls
- Fault analysis of hard-wired relay logic, motor control circuits, and common utility/lighting circuits
- Access and use PLC logic programming to troubleshoot production equipment
- Recommend process or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- Strong electronic background and computer skills (Microsoft Office, CMMS, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
- Understand manufacturing processes and manufacturing equipment
- Must be familiar with normal test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
