National Account Manager Role at The J. M. Smucker Company

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our US Retail Sales Team-Coffee in Nashville, TN.

This role offers the opportunity to drive profitable sales growth for both JM Smucker and Dollar General by building and maintaining relationships within the company and its internal constituents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bolster business management through strategic planning, negotiation, and fact-based presentations to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans, new item initiatives, and other key projects with internal teams.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with Supply Chain, sales support, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and business opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations on trade budget, distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing objectives.

In this dynamic role, you will have the chance to own annual business plans, perform in-depth analysis of sales components, and manage internal sales systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of Consumer Packaged Goods sales experience, with direct national account headquarter management experience.
  • Proven leadership skills in negotiation success and ability to relocate for future growth opportunities.
  • Strong technical skills using Microsoft Office Suite and excellent oral and written communication skills.

A competitive salary is offered for this position, estimated to be around $115,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience.
