Job Overview
A leading role in a dynamic global organization seeks a seasoned Construction Project Strategist to spearhead category sourcing initiatives and drive value creation.

About the Role
As a Construction Project Strategist, you will be responsible for leading complex construction projects, developing and executing category sourcing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and project leadership will be instrumental in driving business growth and improving productivity.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive category sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives
* Lead individual GC construction category projects, ensuring successful execution and delivery of savings/value
* Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Pre-Construction, Design, and Construction teams, as well as external partners
* Identify and develop long-term sourcing strategies to drive General Contractor performance and cost management
* Collaborate with World Wide Real-Estate to deliver market-leading low-cost, innovative, and sustainable construction equipment/services
* Travel up to 10% for business meetings and site visits

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, or procurement)
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably in the construction industry
* Proven track record of defining and executing program requirements and managing large-scale negotiations
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
