Master Meter is a leading manufacturer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) products for the water utility industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue within the assigned territory.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with distributors and water utility companies to optimize distribution networks and drive sales growth.
- Lead Sales Teams: Provide support to distributor sales personnel, including business plan development, product training, and technical support.
- Identify New Opportunities: Establish direct utility sales in market areas not currently covered by distribution.
- Manage Sales Pipelines: Maintain accurate sales data and provide forecasts to support business growth objectives.
- Represent Master Meter: Participate in local and regional trade shows to promote Master Meter's products and services.
- Home-Based Position: The successful candidate will be based in the territory and will be required to travel 50% of the time.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Familiarity with Meters and AMI/AMR Systems: Prior experience working with meters and/or AMI/AMR systems is highly desirable.
- Municipal Utility Experience: Prior experience working with municipal utilities is also highly desirable.
- Salary and Commissions: A competitive salary and commission structure.
- Company Vehicle: A company vehicle will be provided.
- Benefits Package: A comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, life/AD&D insurance, short and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending account, health savings account, and 401(k) retirement plan.
