Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of food items, including meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables.
  • Portion product and follow recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Be available to work weekends and some holidays, and be flexible with scheduling as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of high-volume restaurant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
