Daily Responsibilities:
The client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a Windows 11 upgrade initiative. This role involves hands-on hardware troubleshooting, engaging with end users, managing the ticketing system, and documenting support requests. The technician will oversee end-user support while executing PC, laptop, and software upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a practical setting, focusing on software and hardware installations, configuring Windows PCs, and providing advanced troubleshooting support. Responsibilities include managing deployment and disposal processes by tracking inventory and assets, as well as installing and configuring systems. The technician is expected to refresh a significant number of machines weekly, ensuring efficient completion of the Windows 11 workstation rollout. Strong communication skills are crucial due to the customer service aspect of the role.
